We are very sorry to have to let you know that in spite of our plan to run RE-Source UK 2020 in September, we now do not believe this is possible. Our member organisations have been clear with us that attendance at large events (for over 100 delegates) will not be encouraged in 2020. We have therefore taken the difficult decision to deliver all our events in 2020 as virtual conferences, and we have secured excellent platforms and technology to make sure our members and delegates, partners and sponsors have the best virtual experience we can provide.
While we will be refunding your fees in full – with our regrets for having to do this – we encourage you to consider attending RE-Source Virtual. To deliver the most effective conference for buyers and sellers of clean energy, the Solar Trade Association and RenewableUK will deliver RE-Source Virtual as a unique series of virtual events, focusing on the following areas:
Public sector - date TBC
Technology (with TechUK) - Monday 21 September
Manufacturing (with the Food and Drink Federation) - Monday 28 September
Each event will start at 1pm, with a series of sessions exploring the developments of PPAs in the relevant area, followed by two case studies, and then network tables. All delivered in a safe, virtual environment.
Why you should attend:
To exchange information about renewable energy procurement and PPAs
To attend virtual match making meetings that facilitate B2B connections with corporate and public sector buyers
To have a voice in the international platform to influence government decision-makers to introduce favourable and stable regulatory frameworks for renewable power procurement and consumption.
Please note that all attendees of RE-SourceUK in September will be refunded in full. You will need to register separately to attend RE-Source Virtual.
